Privacy Policy

Effective 26 October 2026

This policy explains what information SingleCal collects, why we use it and the choices you have. SingleCal helps rental hosts combine iCal availability feeds and publish a calendar for guests.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to provide and protect SingleCal:

  • Account information: your email address, account identifier and sign-in records.
  • Rental and calendar information: rental names, locations, time zones, appearance settings, booking links, iCal source links and the unavailable date ranges imported from those calendars.
  • Billing information: your plan, subscription status and Paddle customer and transaction references. Paddle processes payment details; SingleCal does not receive or store your full card number.
  • Technical information: security, request and error data such as IP address, browser type and timestamps. We may also collect basic usage information on our public marketing website where analytics is enabled.

How we use information

We use this information to:

  • create and secure your account;
  • import, combine and publish rental availability;
  • operate subscriptions, send service emails and provide support;
  • prevent abuse, diagnose errors and improve reliability; and
  • meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We process account and service data to provide SingleCal, security data for our legitimate interest in protecting the service, and other information where required by law or with your consent.

If you sign up but have not connected a calendar, we may send you up to two short emails with setup help. Each includes a link to stop these emails, and they stop once a calendar is connected.

What becomes public

When you publish a calendar, its rental name, optional location, availability, design and booking links can be viewed by anyone with the hosted-page or embed address. Do not add private information to those fields.

Your original iCal source links are kept private and used only to retrieve calendar updates.

Who we share information with

We share information only when needed to operate SingleCal, including with:

  • hosting, database and security providers;
  • email and customer-support providers;
  • analytics providers where analytics is enabled; and
  • payment and subscription providers.

Paddle is our merchant of record and processes checkout, subscription, tax and payment data under its privacy policy. Brevo sends our account emails and receives your email address and the message for that purpose. Other providers receive only the information needed for the service they supply. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and local storage

SingleCal uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in and protect account actions. Public marketing pages may use analytics technologies to understand general website use. Where the law requires it, optional analytics will be used only with the required consent.

Storage and security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account and calendar information. Information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, with appropriate safeguards where required.

We keep account and calendar data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards when needed for recovery, security or legal obligations. Billing records and system logs may be retained for longer where the law or fraud prevention requires it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Some information may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.

You can delete individual calendars from your account. For an account-level request, email us using the address below.

Other details

SingleCal is intended for business users and adults, not children. We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will always be published here.
