What Airbnb's embed shows
Airbnb lets hosts embed a preview of their listing on their own website. Airbnb's help page says you can show or hide reviews, but it does not mention a calendar, availability or dates.
It is useful for linking your website to your listing, but it will not show guests which nights are free.

Open your listing
On a computer, click Listings and select the listing you want to share.

View and share it
Under Listing editor, click View, then click Share.

Copy the embed code
Click Embed, then Copy HTML, and paste the code into your website.
Airbnb's calendar export is an iCal link
For your calendar, Airbnb gives you an iCal link. Airbnb describes it as a way to sync your calendar with other websites: you copy the link and paste it into another iCal-based calendar.
An iCal link is a data file, not a web page. Pasting it on your website gives guests a file to download, not a calendar, so keep it out of public pages and only add it to tools you trust.

Open your calendar
On a computer, click Calendar and select the listing's calendar.

Find the calendar links
Click Availability, then under Connect calendars click Connect to another website.

Copy the Airbnb calendar link
Copy the link and paste it into the calendar tool you will use on your website.
How to show your Airbnb availability on your website
To put your dates on your website, add your Airbnb iCal link to a tool that reads it and displays a calendar. Hosts usually choose one of three options: a public Google Calendar embed, a WordPress booking plugin, or an availability calendar such as SingleCal.
